Dixie

​Anyone who's lost a pet knows just how truly heartbreaking it is.  They stick by our side as we grow and change, they comfort us in times of sorrow and keep us laughing throughout.  They become not only our best friends, but our family.  ​

​Brooke was given Dixie for Christmas at nine years old and they quite literally grew up together.  From childhood, to college, to adulthood, Dixie has been there every step of the way.  Sadly, though, Dixie had gotten to that point in life where Brooke knew it was almost time to let her go.  We went back to their childhood home and showered Dixie with love while taking her on a final adventure on the land where she played as a puppy.

I'm so thankful to spend these emotional, meaningful times with clients and their aging pets, documenting their last days together with an End of Life session.  If your pet is approaching this stage of life, I highly recommend taking an evening to make memories like these that you can hold onto for years to come.
