I feel so fortunate to have gotten the opportunity to shoot Ashley + Nathan as they prepare to welcome their second beautiful baby girl, Courinn. During such an emotional time in parents' lives, these two prove to be one of the strongest, most playful couples I've ever known. While on a family vacation to Isle of Palms, we decided to run out to the beach one evening to do a quick maternity session! Can't wait to meet the newest addition to our family!!
And the winners of my Elopement Giveaway are... Tatiana + Daniel!
This couple has such a sweet love story and have built a wonderfully adventurous life together. It was so special to get to shoot Tatiana and Daniel's elopement. They had originally planned a big wedding with all their friends and family in Mexico, but due to Covid-19, they were forced to reschedule for the following year. Instead of waiting that additional year to finally be husband and wife, these two chose to make it official on their original date with just a couple close family members in North Georgia's beautiful Cloudland Canyon.
It was really hard to narrow down my favorites to post to this blog, so stay tuned on Instagram (@nicolekovacsphotography) to see many others!
Oh my gosh, what a treat it was to shoot Britannia and Patrick's engagement photos!! These two kept me laughing the entire time! We did two sessions-- one at their home and the other at a nearby park during golden hour. They have so many cute interactions, I only hope I caught them all on camera!
My friend, Jia, and I went on a little adventure out to Colorado's Great Sand Dunes National Park, and my gosh, was it breathtaking! Between the amazing vistas and fun times playing in the dunes, I know I want to go back again. We took a few photos and I made the video above just for fun... but now that I did, I think I'd like to now offer motion pictures like this to clients!
... and just one more before we go.
I've been fortunate enough to know this wonderful family for over a decade and this was my first time ever photographing them! What a special treat! To watch Mandy grow from a teenager to a wife and mother has been so beautiful, and capturing her mother becoming a grandmother was so heartwarming. And just LOOK at this beautiful baby girl!!
We had an overwhelming amount of photos to pick from, but here are a few of my favorites :)
After getting some upsetting news about the health of their senior cat, Ziggy, Jonathan sweetly surprised Kate with a special shoot of their little furbaby.
Ziggy is an indoor cat but loves an outdoor adventure from time to time. It was so cute to see her exploring the grass and posing like the little tiger queen she is. Loved watching the joy this sweet girl brought to her mommy and daddy.
Every detail thought of, from photographs of their whole relationship draped across their candlelit living room, to a floor picnic of their favorite food and cocktails from Wrecking Bar Brewpub, Danny did an absolutely beautiful job of making his proposal to Sara a true reflection of his love for her. I feel so fortunate to have been a part of telling their love story and documenting this special day for them.
After getting some shots at home, amidst their sweet proposal set-up, we took a trip down the street to Atlanta's Piedmont Park for more. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day. I love the romance you can feel between them in these! Congratulations, Sara + Danny!!
I have been wanting to do a couples shoot that is next level steamy and this beautiful husband and wife were the perfect couple to help me bring my vision to reality! Thank you! Their playful, free-spirited nature and undeniable connection made this everything I wanted it to be and more.
We had SO MANY photos to pick from, so I'll be posting others on my instagram periodically. Follow me there -- @NicoleKovacsPhotography -- and catch more of these beauties, as well as many others!
Family is all about who you love, and for my wonderful, radiant friend, Annagrace, one of those very important beings is her pup, Bear. It was so fun and cute to do an in-home session with them. What's funny is Bear is SUPER shy, but as soon as the camera was out, she couldn't contain her interest, consistently looking right into the lens and being a perfect puppy model!
And since we were enjoying some bubbly on the rooftop afterward, I brought the camera along. Despite the wild wind we had to contend with up there, Annagrace's hair rocked and so did she.
I took a North Georgia road trip with these two and though we had a couple wineries as destinations, we had to make a few roadside stops along the way-- I mean, just look at the amazing golden light we caught! Between the wine at Kaya Vineyards and Montaluce Winery, great company and perfect light, I couldn't have asked for a better day! If you're an Atlantan and need a little escape, I highly recommend taking a day trip up to our state's very own wine country.
