What an honor it is to document this beautiful family each year, as it grows. I first photographed Molly's sweet little Harper at one month old; now she's a big two year old, so beautiful and sweet, full of wonder and giggles!
It's crazy how time flies, and how quickly the pace picks up once you're an adult. I remember, as a kid, grown ups telling me that would happen, but it never made sense until I was older. Make memories. Document the life you've created with your loved ones. Tell your story for future generations to know their roots. Make these days count. We only get this one shot.
Give me a playful family and a big field at golden hour, I'll give you memories for a lifetime!
I had so much fun with this beautiful bunch and look forward to watching them grow for years to come.
Anyone who's lost a pet knows just how truly heartbreaking it is. They stick by our side as we grow and change, they comfort us in times of sorrow and keep us laughing throughout. They become not only our best friends, but our family.
This beautiful gem of a girl has grown into a caring, thoughtful, funny, creative, responsible and all-around incredible young woman. It has been so amazing watching her grow over the last thirteen years, and now, she's a high school graduate!
Brooklyn wanted to do a vintage-inspired photoshoot to commemorate the occasion. I couldn't ask for a prettier model or a cooler location (umm can I live in this hotel please)!
It was so hard to narrow down favorites for this blog, but keep an eye on my Instagram to see additional photos popping up!
What a bucket list shoot come true!
I first met this beautiful family a couple years ago when Nicole reached out to me to photograph her husband, Dominick's homecoming at the airport (to see those photos, check out this blog: Home for the Holidays). He had been overseas for a full year and capturing the pure joy and genuine emotion that came over their family that day is one of my all-time favorite memories as a photographer.
All of that said, when they moved to the Savannah area, she mentioned how beautiful Jekyll Island's Driftwood Beach was and how she would love to do a family session there someday. Well, the day finally arrived! What an absolute dream this location is! Not only is it unique and almost fantasy-like, it's chock full of fun for the kiddos too. The boys had so much fun searching for and catching crabs, as well as climbing on all of the giant pieces of driftwood scattered about the beach.
There's so much more to this island and I can't wait to explore it even more on my next shoot down there! Who's in??
Ever dreamed of having a massive, feathery pillow fight?? ME TOO!
I had SO MUCH FUN on this shoot with Dominique and her amazing, sweet, free-spirited, little ones! They were the perfect family for this styled session. Feathers still sneak out of my purse, car and camera bag, bringing a smile to my face... and I just know Dominique will be finding feathers around her house for months to come (y'all, there were eeeeeeeeverywhere)!
Can't wait to do more playful shoots like this one!
made the big move to ATL from New York to pursue his dreams. Join me in following his career and watching out for him on the big screen!

You know when your cheeks start hurting because you've been smiling SO much!? Well, that's what Nia and John did to me (not complaining AT ALL)!
This newly engaged pair was so much fun to adventure with! It's no wonder they are so happy with a shared love of the outdoors, kickball, exploration, playfulness and each other! I truly enjoyed every moment of this beautiful engagement session. Thank you, Nia and John!
Now, six years later, this amazing being IS a Mom. I couldn't be happier for her and her husband, Yuri. These two have had a long love story and it's been such a wonderful journey, witnessing this story unfold.
I can't wait to meet little Sasha in a few weeks and watch these two as they become parents and build their family together. Much love.
Have you ever met two people and felt this energy from each of them that just perfectly matched that of the other? Like, when both people are vibrating at the same level? If not, meet Abbey + Nick. These two are both so sincere, carrying a light around wherever they go. What a perfect day, shooting with them in celebration of their first anniversary together!
